Dark Faerytales: Little Red Riding Hood
preview-ish image. I'm going to play around with the story a bit more.

I know people won't immediately associated it with Little Red Riding Hood, but I wasn't aiming for the Grimm version. The intention of this was actually a reflection of pre-Perrault oral tales. These versions reflected plenty of violence and disturbing imagery. In some versions, the wolf (or tiger, or ogre or werewolf) tricks LRRH into cannibalizing her grandmother (claiming she was a meal of meat and wine). In others, the wolf beds LRRH and her sister and in the middle of the night has LRRH chomp on her sister's finger (I want to say this one is called "Grandaunt Tiger", where the villain is a tiger instead of a wolf). Perrault's version has LRRH eaten by the wolf with no happy ending. Some of the oral stories have her escape by tricking the wolf.

I'll mention the Grimms shortly by saying: Yeah, way to clean it up, boys.
