Panther Beach, Santa Cruz. They have very, very tall cliffs there.

The Descent by =Auriethepixie is one of many beautifully processed portraits and self portraits in this deviant's gallery. I love the surreal feel much of her work has. The suggester of this piece wrote, "In "The Descent", a beautiful model stands as if in a dream. Contrasting colors of earth, fire and ice, mixed with textures and shapes all come together softly to form a natural backdrop. This photo has a surreal and otherworldly atmosphere to it as does the rest of the work in this Deviant's gallery." (Suggested by ^PorcelainPoet and Featured by ^opioid)

Everything in this is beautiful. It's perfect, from the color contrast, to the softness of it. It should be a NIN album cover or something...
beautiful.

Lovely photo. It's a gorgeous beach, and I was there on a warm day. The surf was a bit dangerous, but other than that it was just wonderful.

Please tell me you didn't go in the water. Riptides aplenty there (and there's a reason the wetsuit was invented here... it's friggin' cold!)
:iconauriethepixie:
Not...too much. Just up to my knees, and that was involuntary. As in the tide just came up and whoosh! before I knew it, I was knee deep.
