The Descent by =Auriethepixie is one of many beautifully processed portraits and self portraits in this deviant's gallery. I love the surreal feel much of her work has. Contrasting colors of earth, fire and ice, mixed with textures and shapes all come together softly to form a natural backdrop. Lovely photo. It's a gorgeous beach, and I was there on a warm day. The surf was a bit dangerous, but other than that it was just wonderful.

Not...too much. Just up to my knees, and that was involuntary. As in the tide just came up and whoosh! before I knew it, I was knee deep.
