I was so relieved to have another shoot with her finally. She's my cousin, but we hardly ever get to see each other. The poor girl doesn't have internet, so she hardly ever gets to see how amazing her pictures are. Seriously, the girl blinks awesome. This is her pushing back her bangs, not even realizing I'm shooting her.

Your cousin has excellent bone structure that photographs well (particularly jawline, cheekbones, nose and shoulder) and you froze a moment of great intimacy of thought, while she is inside herself and in a different reality than the lens.

Yes, this was outdoors! Around 3:00 in the afternoon, so the sun was pretty high. I metered from her skin.
