Now that I've had ample opportunity to get used to V.6, I'm not sure I like this whole swanky high class loading crap its got going on where it seems to take forever for my message center to load/save and where it appears to be bugging worse than my Windows operating system. It seems like every time I submit something, there's either a bug or they're updating some shit. I realize they're going for a more professional look, but does professional mean "it looks good, you know, when it works"?
Why can't we choose? Even Myspace--the shittiest website on the planet, in my opinion--allows users to go back to the "classic" format.
Nice try, DA. It doesn't fail...for those with really supa fast internetz.

Crickets are everywhere. Is it really bad luck to kill a cricket? I like bugs, but I don't like them surprising me in my sleep. Mostly I like them when they're encased and unable to touch me. As of this moment there are two crickets running around on the floor. If I were living with Elyse, this is where I would look to her to do her benevolent thing and catch them in a container and take them outside. Since I'm by myself, I'm too lazy to do anything, so I just hope they go away or get eaten or get stuck in a spiderweb somewhere.
But they ALWAYS come back. I could kill the crickets, but I'm pretty sure their mom, dad, brother, sister, 2nd cousin once removed would infest my bedroom in revenge.
And lets face it guys, my bedroom is my photo studio. I can't have crawlies all up in my creative...uh...atmosphere. Or in my bed. Isn't there a possibility of swallowing bugs in your sleep? The last thing I want to do is wake up in the morning with cricket breath. I'm not sure if its a step down from bacteria-shit-all-night breath, but the combination cannot be good.

Ah, bugs! Gah, I can't name all the times creepy bugs were in my room, and bed, and - kill 'em!
Is Lady of Conquest good? I'm debating between getting that and Succubus Dreams or Succubus Dreams and The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty. I need an experienced opinion, plz.
Yes! I'm playing with myself too. But then, it's always funner to play together ^ ^

"Lady of Conquest"--I'll have to get back to you. I've just started it, so I haven't been able to form much of an impression. But I adore many of Teresa Medeiros' books and hope this will be no different. My favorites by her are probably "Nobody's Darling" and "Once an Angel". We'll see how this one goes--I've heard mixed reviews.
"Succubus Dreams", do you mean "Incubus Dreams" by Laurell K. Hamilton? I read it and hated it. I'm not much into reading books with furry sex and I think Hamilton has gone a bit off the deep end. And "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty" was interesting. I read that a very long time ago and I'm not sure I was mature enough for it because of all the BDSM. All the rape freaked me the hell out

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done. --George Carlin (RIP, you old bastard)
I'll have to read those. No, I mean Succubus Dreams by Richelle Mead, but Incubus Dreams looked reasonable. Really? Wait, do you mean 'furry' or 'fury'? I actually haven't read much BDSM, but I don't think I'll dislike it. Uh, rape...yeesh. Well. I'll probably read it anyway. My friend said it rocked...although she's kinky as hell and certifiably insane ^ ^

Ohhh! "Succubus Dreams" by Richelle Mead? READ HER!!! Seriously, she's awesome. I just finished two books in her "Vampire Academy" series, and her writing is absolutely amazing. You can't go wrong with her.
I meant "furry" sex. Like half man/half leopard sex scene. :shudder: My mind may never recover.
You might want to try getting Anne Rice's "Beauty" series from the library (I know there's an omnibus edition with all three books out there). It's really one of those series where a lot of people love it, an equal amount hate it. It's got a lot of really kinky shit in it that pretty much made me cringe while reading it. But if it turns out to be something you're not into, it's probably best to save your money for something not so questionable.

OMG! Yes! You've read her books! I've read everything that she's published so far, OMG she rocks! i seriously love her. Her Georgina Kincaid trilogy (Succubus...) is so orgasmic! I read both books in three days. I couldn't help it. I want Succubus Dreams to come out so bad! And Shadow Kiss! Dimitri *sighs*
Eh. That's just weird. Maybe I should avoid her...
You're smart! That sounds like a good idea. I always buy books, but I am low on cash and there is nudity on the cover...better to rent! Thank you!
Ah, it's 5:03 AM. *dies* Night!

And I'd love a dog to get rid of the crickets. It would make my life easier.
Was my soul thirst quenching?
Hm. It tasted like Ramen noodles.
